Organization Information
In this club we will share our writing pieces, give feedback, listen to others' pieces, play writing games, host writing workshops, and facilitate outings (once the climate permits). This club is open to all skill levels and all types of writers (can be poetry, plays, short stories, song lyrics, etc.).
Mission Statement
We wish to spread the passion of writing and to create a safe space for those who enjoy writing of any kind and any level. We will share our works with each other and give fair criticisms to help each other improve in the craft.
Welcome From Our Leadership
Writers at Illinois Tech is an organization for students passionate or curious about the writing world. We welcome all skill levels and any kind of writer (poet, songwriter, playwright, novelist, etc.). This group offers a safe space to share our pieces, listen to others', and give feedback. Other than that we will also play fun writing games, host workshops, explore different styles of writing, share writing opportunities, and facilitate outings (once the climate permits). Club meetings will take place at 1pm every first and third Monday of each month. Meetings will be online until further notice.
