Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS)
Organization Information
We build a community within Illinois Tech that promotes women’s education, participation, and leadership in the field of cybersecurity. The WiCyS Student Chapter is organized with the following purposes:
- To decrease the gender disparity in cybersecurity.
- To provide education, mentorship, and networking support to students through the WiCyS community.
- To promote and recruit women in cybersecurity workforce through the Academic Institution
Some of our events and programming include:
- Cybersecurity Mentorship Program
- Information about Cybersecurity Career Fairs and Conferences
- Weekly Cybersecurity Newsletters
- Guest Speakers
- Cybersecurity Workshops
